At D'Argenzio Winery, our story is one of family, heritage, and a deep-rooted passion for crafting exceptional wines. It all started with our ancestors, who were renowned silver smiths in Italy. From there, our family's journey took us through generations of cabinet making, winemaking, and even pizza making at our on-site sister restaurant, Cibo Rustico Pizzeria.


Today, we are proud to carry forward our family's legacy of artisanal excellence, uncorking centuries of traditions to create truly remarkable wines. But for us, it's not just about the wine. Our History

D'Argenzio Winery is a labor of love that traces its origins to our Papa, Alfonso A. D'Argenzio's cabinet shop in Burbank. It was here, amidst the sawdust and the scent of wood shavings, that our winemaking journey began as a humble hobby. Years of working in Papa's shop, honing our skills as artisans, eventually led us to Santa Rosa, where we established a second cabinet shop and expanded our horizons. It was in 1994, prompted by the curiosity of our bambino Anthony, that the idea of the winery took root, inspired by the bountiful grapes that graced our home in Sonoma County.


What started as a modest venture with just 200 pounds of grapes and 150 cases of Old Vine Zinfandel has now blossomed into a bonded full-production boutique winery, crafting premium Italian-style wines. Our winery is a testament to our Italian heritage, our passion for craftsmanship, and our unwavering commitment to creating wines that embody our family's proud legacy. Every bottle of D'Argenzio wine is a labor of love, a culmination of our family's journey, and a toast to the timeless values of artisan excellence that continue to guide us on this beautiful winemaking adventure.
